| Abstract |
A small collection of isopod and decapod crustaceans (one species
each) is described from the lower part of the Vijien Member (Gulpen
Formation) as exposed at the SA Ciments Portland I iegeois
(CPL) quarry near llaccourt, province of Liege (NE Belgium). The
age of this faunule is late Maastrichtian. I he lobsters are referred
to Oncopareia bredai Bosquet, 18E>4, originally described from the
Kunrado Limestone facies of the Maastricht I oimation (late
Maastriclitian), while the isopod is tentatively assigned to the genus
I'alaega I he biostratigraphy and macrofauna of the Vi|len
Member at this locality are bnelly commented upon |
